Introduction

Greetings people of Port Townsend and beyond. I am Kyle, and soon I will be operating Green Crow Tacos here on the Dragons Head of the Olympic Peninsula. Aside from composing amazing tacos and libations for you good people, the mission statement of my humble taco project is what drives me.

  The goal is to be an institution of this growing community that contributes to the progressive movements we are known for here in Washington. To provide accessible nourishing meals to the people of this community that could use a helping hand. Feeding kids that might otherwise depend on school lunch programs that may be limited due to circumstances. Adding value to existing programs operated by like-minded folks at food banks and soup kitchens.

In addition to the social concerns, I will address environmental issues with initiatives I’ve had the privilege to work on and distill over the last decade. Compiling an operating manual of earth friendly practices and product options available to this industry, and operating a proof of concept model that addresses challenges. Sharing these efforts and the blueprint to implement the practices in a variety of business scenarios, and collaborating with those that share the vision of responsibility to amplify the volume.
